I recently read a post on Outside Online called Your Real Age Doesn’t Matter. Researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Trondheim have determined that fitness age—a measure of cardiovascular performance—is a better indicator of longevity than chronological age.
My result below says that I have the fitness of an average under 20 year old and a 64 VO2Max (understanding V02Max). Is it a coincidence that my fitness age is under 20? I think not. For me I’d say 30 really is the new 20.
